my thought is that if you define a range of frequency and use of that frequency. Wouldn't some of that compromise national security to a degree? All these laws seem to just be making it easier for the lawless to take advantage of a system and tie the hands of law enforcement.

I don't think that anything marked as exempt from FoI act would be posted. Therefore, no breech of national security.
