RIM CEO Confirms Storm Sequel is in the Works
Who buys one?
The Storm remains the worst engineered Blackberry/Phone outside of the realm of HTC's Audiovox branded devices. Of course, RIM hasn't really been turning out good products either in the past year...
I will say the Storm OS sucks but the thing is selling off the VZW shelves.
I myself can get an Iphone, it's AT&T I hate, if it was on Verizon I would get it.

RIM's products were great 3 years ago, now they're stale and fairly lacking. VZW also was giving the Curves away free
People these days won't even take free phones unless they are desirable. It would be wise of Verizon or anyone else for that matter to keep the phone prices low. The money is made in the data plans
Here is a quick list of phones Verizon should be smacked for...
UTStarcom Blitz TXT8010
Samsung Juke
Samsung Alias
LG Dare---- iPhone stuck in a Twinkie factory
Motorola Rapture VU30

Other than people tethered to Verizon who can't get an iPhone?

Top selling smartphones:
1. Curve (all carriers) (RIM)
2. iphone (Apple)
3. Storm (RIM)
4. Pearl (RIM)
5. G1 (HTC)
It appears most of the public doesn't agree with you. You can blame being tethered to Verizon or a bunch of dumb people if you like, but these are the top sellers ðŸ¤

And you also forgot that Certain carriers were chucking the blackberries for for free.
Or the big box retailers selling 1/2 price iphones to the public. You could buy 2 of those for the same price as the buy one get one "free" offer 🤣
Most carriers have resigned themselves to losing money on the phones anyway. Smartphones are a goldmine for them in terms of the money they pull in from you during the contract term
