Actually Sprint gave up the rights of Xohm to clearwire in exchange to hold 51% of clearwire. So even though they control it, they don't own it. If wimax fails, they will have plenty of time to walk away and switch to LTE and still be very competitive. 🤣 Honestly, Las Vegas should be targeted. I honestly don't understand how they choose. Here in Rochester NY, we are the home for 5 major world wide business Headquarters and we still have to wait for the latest Phones/Technology. Go figure. I would think the White collar workers would benefit from this. Although for WiMax I did hear that we are before Buffalo for once. 😁

I know this is a bit off the subject of WiMax, but I just want to let you know that I suggested to Rich in the phonescoop forum that he creat a Android forum in the Platform section, he just replied to me a short moment ago, and said "Done"!!!

This is an awesome idea Jay! I will use this tool in determining my decision for purchasing this device on top of the experimental hands on aspects. I just hope people are true to their experiences rather than covering and making excuses just because they are emotionally attached to their device. That's the only way this would be effective.

Thanks! I really do believe Android has great potential, I really do. I'm currently an ATT customer, but I am giving careful consideration to Tmo. I am not under contract, but I have my mother under contract til April. But I am going to pay very close attn to the G1 and Tmo.

I still think with this device having Android and dealing with data, they should've called the phone Commander Data! or simply the Commander. Oh well I should stop while I'm ahead.
