This plus the samsung tocco is awesome.

Finally, some good phones to coincide with the start of T-Mobile 3G. I read somewhere that T-Mobile is gonna have the fastest HSDPA on the continent when it opens up in like 30 markets. (7.2Mbps http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Mobile-and-Wireless/ TMobile-Moves-to-3G/). If that's true, plus the Android and Samsung tocco being hsdpa, this would be perfect by the time i switch. good thing to wait for.

7.2bps. air cards maybe. phones definitely no. 1.6bps at best. which is still very good. Tmo fans will absolutely love it. I am waiting for WiMax. HTC (supposedly) relesing phone late next year with sprint wimax chip. Awesome!

Um... that article you read is 2 years old and pretty much completely out of date.

AT&T already has HSPA 7.2 in operation, and claims that they will have 350 markets covered by the end of the year.

These 3.2-5 mpeg camera phones, 3G, along with the Poloroid POGO, will make for an interesting 4th quarter for TMob doors.

But as Roadkill pointed out, the article is two years old but it does ring true. He's also correct about "The Deathstar" having those speeds already in many markets but it's usually up to those speeds as there are so many AT&T users with 3G handsets gobbling up the bandwidth, I've never seen anyone here in the North West get faster than 1.5 Mbps and even those speeds are a rare occasion and I realize it may be different in other markets. But, the cool thing about T-Mobile is they're the only major carrier using the 1700 MHz for 3G so that's a considerably small portion of their 37 million customers that will be using it.
