Who wants this POS. Do they really think people are going to ditch their lx just for changeable plates. I'm not understanding. And I hardly find this phone to represent 2008. 2008 is about 3g, wifi, touch screen, 3mp camera or higher, and etc. Welcome to 2006 Sharp. Sorry for ranting but I love my sidekick II and I feel like the new sidekick are progressing slowly.

I agree! I'm sooo leaving T-Mobile as soon as this contract is over. Hell I think it is worth it just to pay my way out of the contract. I don't give a crap about other sidekicks! Can we get something NEW and FRESH?

Laf something new and fresh? let me guess your gonna go to At&t case there new devices are so ground breaking? (cough crap iphone 2.0 cough)

Sidekicks are devices you eiter love or hate, and thats fine. That is why there are so may phone choices for EVERYONE with many different features. The phones re made to fit people needs. With the amount of Celebs that carry SKs they have to be doing somthing right.

i personally feel the same way about windows phones tired old devices same old features. so ill stick with my N95 an Curve ( until Javelin comes out)

LOL

No one wants a sidekick because no one wants the worst coverage with the DIAL UP speeds T MObile offers....besides the fact that your devices are ancient and a sidekick is insanely huge, no one likes the lack of calling coverage and everyone is using their devices now for more than a phone....something tmobile hasnt picked up on.

You say ur store sold out in 10 minutes....next time tell them to order more than one.

VZW FTW !!!

they definitly don't have the coverage, for now, i heard they are putting down another 3000 towers this year, hope that works out for them

on the other hand, it's too bad their german breathern do not share stuff with tmo usa, i think it would help them a lot if that was the case, with the new 3g networks they developed over there

I'm going to hang in there, I'm sure they will get better phones soon. I look forward to the HTC Dream if they are getting it for the Andrioid, and the BB Bold, and there 3G, I rather be more patient. Especailly, since I hear rumors that their 3G is suppose to be better than AT&T.

yea i have read at website's that t mobile is supposed to have nationwide 3g in the fall. and I've read that htc's dream phone is supposed to be a 3g phone. i also have seen a video on crackberry.com that the new kickstart is going to tmobile. i was thinking about getting a smartphone and i thought about getting a sidekick since the data is a little cheaper then the other phones. but since my upgrade discount will make a curve about the same price as the sidekick i am mostly liking going to wait and get the htc phone or one of the new blackberries.

If you don't care about the Sidekick than it's not your thing. Spend a day working in telesales and you will realize that there are more than enough people who do.

If this is the type of advancements you can expect when Microsoft takes over, I will be ditching the LX and moving on. I am just hoping I will get the OTA update to at least see what that is like on this "quality" camera.
