Sprint Publishes Treo 800w User Manual
Anyone know if GPS will work as in like, a GPS unit lime a Garmin or TomTom?
Just curious if any knows or has an idea about whether or not this will have GPS in the same sense/function as a Garmin or TomTom...?

this device will use AGPS, this service uses data connections and cell towers to triangulate the devices location, it also uses satellite when the connection is best, the same type of GPS that was developed for the Instinct.

YES - just like stated by Jared, this will utilize Sprint Navigation services which allows for "Turn by turn" directions just like a TOMTOM GPS system. It can find your position via satelite and help you find your destination and it can find you indoors as well. 🙂 😲
