nope. once LTE is launched by the other 3 big carriers, Sprint will realize that they made a mistake.

Nope...LTE is a good three years away by Verizon's own admission...plus its still a unknown...Wimax has already been tested and its been a success in Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington DC...The speed's are guaranteed which means even if Sprints name is mud right now if data users have to choose between Verizons Rev A and Sprint's Wimax...that has already been proven to work...and the price point for unlimited will still be $60 even a crack head like yourself would be stupid to stay with Verizon...of course all these soon to be former Verizon data users can switch back to Verizon's LTE....in three years...of course by then Verizon won't be able to match the $60 price point because of all the money they dumped into a technology that many indus...

If and when LTE ever comes out, who is to say what technology will exist at that point. Sprint is doing what they need to stop the bleeding; offer something no other company can. Wimax. Now

at&t fanboy, not verizon :-)

also, look at evdo and all the carriers that use it and the ones that can roam off each other and how large the evdo coverage is, and then look at at&t and umts and who they roam with, no one. they did it all on their own and look at how they get blasted for only offering edge. and look at the old at&t wireless for cheap.

If LTE is the way why are these companies jumping on with Sprint? Must know something.
These are also not just run of the mill compaines... Google, Intel, Time Warner Cable, Comcast?! ๐Ÿ‘€

Anything Google touches turns to gold. They obviously know how to run a business being one of the top 5 most hit websites daily. So I feel totally comfortable with Sprint doing wimax with all these big names backing them. Go Sprint! ๐Ÿ˜‰
