you obviously don't know how MediaFlo works. it doest broadcast over the 3G network, it broadcasts over the UHF band on a network that MediaFlo maintains. The phones need to be built to receive this separate signal, hence why it is launching on 2 phones to start. This is how the framerates can maintain 30fps with no buffering.

the 3G network is only mainly used to maintain subscription verification.

and in 1993, most people used 14.4k modems - 3G runs at 1Mb or higher depending on your device. Most average users currently use a DSL connection at 768k - so we'll have fun running our TV along with a phone that uses CURRENT internet speeds.

Way to be years behind in network deployment to new areas.

Way to have coverage that looks like an interstate roadmap.

Way to bleed customers like an impaled wildebeast.

Shall I go on?

🤣

By the way, the Mobile TV service doesn't use the EDGE or 3G network, genius. It operates on a separate network in the 715-722 MHz range built and maintained by MediaFLO. So no matter the data network speed of the carrier the TV coverage, if present, will be clear and smooth.

Get the facts fanboy.

i looked at the previous posts of that guy and noticed a few things - he is VERY defensive when it comes to Sprint - he thinks everything else is inferior. he also has been using that "1993 internet" line for a year now. (it gets old) and he seems to usually only post one response to news posts on the site and then doesn't back up anything he says. He has blinders on when it comes to any competitors' products.

it is actually kind of funny watching him make a fool of himself with outdated knowledge and an overly heavy bias. 🤣

haha..... yea jason do go in 🤣 um sprintguy....... I will say sprint comes out with some nice devices...but what good is a hot a** phone that you can hardly ever use because you dont have service in the middle of a MAJOR city most of the time? I admit I wish at&t would step it up a notch on the handset avenue but you can't top there network for NOTHING so how about that!? and yeah...check the facts bud the new tv service operates on it's on frequency!
