AT&T Adds Wi-Fi Pearl to Its Lineup

I have no cell service at my home. Will the addition of wifi to the Pearl allow me to send/receive calls using my home LAN, or is it for data only?
Either way I'm happy. I was about to pull the trigger on a Pearl with ATT. Now I just need to verify that I can get the wifi version. 🤣

The wifi is just for data access.
The only carrier so far that uses wifi for UMA is T-Mobile with their hotspot@home service.
