That is a change from the other Quad band phones that have come out in the past. This is nice. So does that say they have roaming agreements with ATT or Tmobile or both?

Neither. Like the BB 8830 World Phone the GSM radio is using the European frequencies, so it won't work here.

then the mods need to change their story as it says use of GSM/cdma in the US.

Sorry, we worded that badly. When we said:

It is a dual-mode phone containing both CDMA-EVDO and GSM/GPRS radios
for use in the U.S. and roaming abroad.


...we meant "It is a dual-mode phone containing both CDMA-EVDO (for use in the U.S.) and GSM/GPRS radios (for roaming abroad.)"

I tweaked the wording to be a little clearer.
