My Condolences

I may not like Sprint but I still am a person that has Family and bills to pay. I work for AT&T and still this touches me. Anytime a company feels that by getting rid of employees and stores to cope for losses usually does not end up being very pretty. My sincere condolences for those of you out there that work for Sprint and I hope and pray that you might keep your jobs and if not that you might find other jobs. Remember you might consider crossing over into the blue.

On the other hand I feel this is the beginning of the end for Sprint. Cut back some times gain the added effect that was desired but it is rare.

Excellent post!

And this is the REAL issue here, not "Sprint sucks," or ...

Except when you're roaming on Sprint's network with a Verizon phone, then it's "the network."

Yep! That's why we have 4 different national carriers, and dozens of regional, because "the network" only covers 91% of the population, and has the same in building problems that everyone else has.

Personally, Sprint could go completely under and be bought out by Dunkin' Donuts, and I would still use them because I HAVE TO. I'm not settling for a phone or company that's "the best" if i can't use my phone where i need to the most.

I agree I just rather be with a company that makes customer care a priority and cares about it customers. As far as poor indoor coverage sprint ranks up there with the worse do to their 1900 only band. I just had verizon customer service call me this morning asking how my new phones was, and if I had any questions..gotta love that.

And none of that changes the fact that Verizon has no signal inside the building I work in and very little where I live. Who cares how something "ranks" if it doesn't work for you personally? 🙄

Do you honestly believe Verizon cares about you? They only care about the monthly payment you send them each month. Stop sending it, and see how much love they h...

No I don't think they care for me personally, I'm just a dollar sign but they do care about keeping their customer base happy, that's why they put emphasis on providing a network worth a damn, and executing proper customer service..none of which sprint does well...there is a reason for their high churn, duh! All sprint's roaming agreements are a joke, their native coverage sucks, and if you roam to much they will cut off your service.

I never said verizon had service ever where so I'm lost at this part of your post, sry they do not work at your home 🙄

If Sprint's network is so bad, why do MVNO's that use the same rank very high then? 🤨
No one on here can answer that question.
I'll go along with bad customer service, which is the real reason they are not doing well. Nobody likes to get the runaround, and are less forgiving when they do have network issues.

"extended network" only means that your data services will work, but you are still roaming.

Again, Verizon WILL terminate you if enough of your monthly minutes are off of their network. Maybe they are less strict than Sprint in this matter, but I would say that allowing up to 800 minutes of roaming per month is pretty fair. There's no money in doing otherwise.

Service where you live is the dumbest arguement people have on these forums. Everyone it going to have good spots and bad spots.
I hear people all the time say that Cingular sucks because they cannot provide service where they live here in Wyoming. Cingular does not have coverage here, DUH. Does not mean the whole company should shut their doors and close up shop. Some areas will have coverage and others wont.
When you move Cellenator to an area that does not have service through Verizon will you stick by that company? I bet not because that would be DUMB. You will switch to a carrier that has coverage and then bad mouth Verizon. I see it all the time and it makes me sick how dumb people can be. Think outside the box and stop com...

Basically, Sprint's CS sucks, not their network.

That is why MVNO's that use their network get outstanding reviews, while Sprint gets blasted.

I appreciate this post, I feel the same way. The company is being killed by other carriers because they have the phones. Sprint doesn't have a great line of phones and believe it or not as a consumer that's almost as important as the service. I've been drooling over Verizon's Voyager wishing we had a device like this. Sprint continues to waste their money on coming out with the same phone different colors. Yes we all like to have personalized phones but why relaunch the same device just in different colors. This company shows no loyalty yet they expect it from us they provide resellers with much more perks than corperate which is backwards, while they pay corperate employees pennies with commissions the resellers are getting a couple hundred...

LOL! Yeah I have to agree with you. Sprint is definately going to come out with Wimax even if they have to fire every employee this company has. I can admit selling the aircards now is pretty easy because they barely come out because Sprint does provide the best service with the Data Cards and WinMax is going to bring all of those Verizon customers over and when that happens I hope they come to me Milk the company while I can LOL 🤣
