I think that Qualcom is pretty on top of things and they saw that the end was near and did something about it instead of just waiting for the end to come and the decision to be made. 😳 😎 😕

Qualcomm isn't going to wait for a decision to be made... (similar in the past with RIM and its lawsuits), they'll find a workaround.

Looks like Sprint has got it going on... they appear to have a workaround for it, according to their PR.
