Think about in 20-30 years. I mean, in the past ten, we've gone from non camera phones to now, 8MP cameraphones.
The human eye is only estimated at roughly 81MP, so maybe in 20-30 years, we'll have cameras as good as/better than the human eye!

we already have cameras better than the human eye. just not in cell phones...
plust I would argue the 81mp... we can't necessarily focus or zoom on what we see...
a good test is taking a picture of the eye chart, like this site does for reviews... even some current phones get pretty close to 20/20 (well just 20)

It's not neccessarily 81mp, but it's the same resolution as it, basically.
And plus, that's counting the whole eye, not just the middle where we the best vision is.

Well,we do have cameras as good as our eyes *cough*Hasselblad*cough*, but the problem is we cant display the images in a way that is as high quality as our eyes (aka pixels are too big, and would have to be very small). Thats just what I think. And technically, we can focus on things, but I'm not really sure how... 😕

A very easy way to tell that the human eye can focus on things is just to hold your hand out alittle ways away from your eyes and stare at it...Notice everything behind the hand goes blury...MAGIC your eyes are "AUTO FOCUSING"
