Sprint Announces New Programs to Deliver Better Customer Experience

When history ends I have no doubt whatsoever that Sprint will be remembered as one of the worst run companys out there. According to it's own press release today they talk about their "30 Day Risk-Free Guarantee" and "New For You Handset Upgrade" programs. These ARE NOT new but have been around for a while. Their handset upgrade program isn't all that great when you consider you get the EXACT SAME PRICE as the new guy off the street. Not to mention EVERY time you swap phones with a friend or whoever it restarts the equipment timer on your account. Let's say next month your up to renew and get the upgrade but your phone just died. A friend is nice enough to give you one to get buy. Guess what: You can kiss that upgrade discount goodbye for an...

YOU ARE DEAD WRONG ON THIS!!!!
If the phone is a used phone from a friend it does not start your rebate process over again!!! if the phone was purchased outright it does cause the phone is brand new! get your facts straight before you start whining on here about something you dont know or understand!

Well being the fact that i worked for Sprint for several years............and did QUITE A FEW EQUIPMENT UPGRADES.........have you ever worked for Sprint????

you are all idiots and none of you know the correct info on rebate eligibility!

ELIGIBILITY STARTS WHEN THE CUSTOMER RECEIVES A QUALIFIED DISCOUNT OFF A HANDSET WITH A CONTRACT RENEWAL .......THEY WAY IT WORKS IS PEOPLE WILL BE ELIGIBLE BUT IT GOES BY THE LAST TIME THEY RECEIVED A QUALIFIED DISCOUNT!

it was a temporary glitch in the system which has been fixed for months

the glitch only applied to recon phones with S&R stores, not used equipment.

Right, now compare Sprint's upgrade policy to other carriers. Hell, compare it to cable/satellite providers. If you sign up for Directv and you get a free month of Sunday Ticket for being a new subscriber, do you think they're going to give you that same deal every year? Nope.

ROFL!! I've actually asked a customer this...

"You pay your utility bill every month, have they ever given you a free month for paying them so long??"

Sprints upgrade policy is the SAME with every company. If this is not true, tell me what company give ALL their customers a better deal on a phone when their time to upgrade comes.
