Because they bill in per MB usage, it is going to be a drastic improvement over past plans, and far better anything any other competitor is offering. You will no longer be billed airtime for any data sessions. From here on, ALL airtime will be available for voice usage. No more disappearing minutes. After reading a few posts, I think I need to be the voice of reason. Take a look at the numbers. Current billing rates are, AT&T: $.01/KB equaling $10.24/MB, Sprint: $.03/KB equaling $30.72/MB, and Verizon at $1.99/MB. Numbers don't lie people.
you're right, they don't...especially considering that you only listed the casual rates... Sprint's basic unlimited package is $15/month and has been for a long time
AT&T's and alltel's plans are as good or better than verizons already as well ... either do a little more research or include ALL the numbers when you say the numbers don't lie...
and Sprint's network is larger (sq. miles) and faster (Mbps)
show me some supporting evidence for your claim that sprints network is faster
As far as speeds they should be the same, since they both use Rev A.
And with the launch of Nationwide plans VZW data network will rapidly spread, you should see large improvement through out the midwest, Kansas, Neb etc...
VZW aircard $59.99 max 5gig/month
(uses just VZW's Data network)
Spring aircard $59.99 Unlimited
(uses Sprint and Alltel's Data network)
Alltel aircard $59.99 Unlimited
(Uses Alltel and Sprint's Data network)
?????
Get your fact's right! VZW is so far behind in data. What they are doing is trying to get the people that don't use data too start using data, so they can grow their data network.
They are always the last to do something with their data. Always!!!
