Maybe the touchpad will be less prone to breakage... I've seen too many people have theirs die on them.

I hate stale chocolate. It gets crumbly and sour tasting. Trust me, I know. When I was a kid, I used to get old chocolate from the Dollar Tree. 😡

There is a manufacturing plant in our town that makes the circuit boards for the chocolates, and one of the managers there told me that given the quality of components, you can expect malfunctions in 1 1/2 to 2 years. I hope that gets fixed, as he said it wouldn't cost much per unit to improve the quality.

It's not interesting, it's engineered. LG learned a lesson from early Nokias and Motorolas. If the phone lives forever, masses of people with stick with it, even if their contract allows them to upgrade, even if there's something newer, cooler and better. If the TDMA towers weren't coming down, I would have hundreds of customers sticking with their old Nokia 6100's, case in point.

i guess i should've been more clear, but that point you just brought up was what i was thinking about. you know, a phone that malfunctions just in time for the upgrade to roll around.

What Razr phone do you have? In my experience over the last couple years, the Razr has been nothing BUT a let down.

i concur! when has the RAZR ever not been a letdown?!?! i must have been absent on that day.

there are a few people who have no real beef with their RAZRs, but that is the exception.

JSK, there is not a US plant building anything for LG phones.. Where are you gettign this from ?

They are all being built in Asia 100%.. The phone would cost 5000 if the circuit boards were built here..

What are you talking about ?
