Universal?

I can't find any information about whether the unlocked A20 will be universally compatible with all U.S. networks. Does anyone here know if this will be the case?

I've already got an unlocked S9 on Verizon, but the A20 has caught my eye as a potentially intriguing back-up candidate.

Any info on this would be very much appreciated!

The short answer is yes. The US version of the A20 is the SM-A205U. It's the same hardware for Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile, and it fully supports all of those networks, including band 71, etc. That will certainly be the version that Samsung sells unlocked in the US.

The only caveat is that it only has basic support for AT&T / Cricket, since they passed on the A20. So it supports band 12, but not 14, 29, or 30.

Thanks!

Looks like a great device for the price -- glad to know that it supports Verizon.
