25 dollars a day

amendment to the bill was approved to strike language that would have required a mobile phone operator to pay a consumer $25 for each day the handset is unavailable to the consumer or each day the consumer does not have full access to all of the contracted services.

What happen to payin for what the day is worth... 39.99 price plan/ 30 days in a month = $1.33 a day...

You can say your phone didn't work for two days and get free service each month

what if you have a high profile job where you need your phone...lets say you lose $1000 worth of income cause you missed an important call cuz your phone was busted....

I'm just playing devils advocate, but for some $25 may not be that unreasonable

I hear this all the time, You just cost me $10,000.... If you rely on a cellphone, even "the most reliable" and don't have any other way to be reached for something as important as that... then that's your fault... get a Sat phone.
