is T-mo getting the V3i?
Sounds like they perfected the V3 with the V3i (well, not really perfected no phone is perfect, but this time, Moto's got it right)
The V3i makes me torn between two phones (Samsung's t809 and the V3i)... but if V3i is not coming to T-mo, then it will be a clear-cut choice.
any info?
...
Last i heard nothing more than a rumor thought was that t-mo was getting the new ones and cingular was not. any one else have anyhting firm on this?
...
T-Mobile is getting the colored V3's. Cingular is getting the V3i. You can always buy an unlocked V3i and put your T-Mo Sim card in it.

would that get bad reception or affect anything though?? sorry i'm a newbie at unlocked phones trend.
...
Shouldn't. T-Mo only operates off of the 1900Mhz band in the United States, although they are picking up some 850 roaming gradually. The V3i has all 4 bands (850 and 1900 for US; 900 and 1800 for world travel) so you should be fine on T-mo with the V3i.

what about the T-zones? will that still show up on the menu? or will it have that cingular logo?
...
Well, you will get the T-zones by programming the WAP settings into your phone. Normally a T-mo store will do that for you. If you buy it unlocked straight from Motorola, you will probably not have the Cingular logo on it, but if you buy a Cingular one that you subsequently have unlocked, there is a chance that the Cingular logo will be on it (even in the software) but you can still have the WAP settings put into the phone for T-Zones.
