Q3 At the Earliest...

Hey Motorola, wasn't your whole "Droid" thing from the start all about offering stock Android? Didn't Google's squirrel-in-chief stand next to your CEO pimping the Droid as the "Nexus" for Verizon. What happened to that?

Oh, I think I know.... you guys make garbage phones. Actually, you guys make.... garbage everything. Seriously, the laptop dock that ran Firefox worse than a 3-year old Netbook?

You are terrible at supporting your hardware, and you half-bake everything you make. Now you're desperately suing Apple for wireless patents you had from over a decade ago because god knows you wouldn't know where to begin developing a decent mobile platform of your own.

1 year!!!! :o

So google reveals android 4.0 towards the end of the 3rd quarter beginning of the 4th last year. How can Motorola have a year delay when XDA developers have a 4.0 rom out already and from my understanding that's their hobby not their job.
Why I don't get is why the Xoom has Ice Cream Sandwich but the XYBoard doesn't....

Isn't the Xyboard supposed to be more advanced? Then how come the Xoom gets the update first?
That's an easy question. 😁

XDA posters don't have to comply with carrier testing and distribution phases, they just make it and allow people to download it. It's not tested 100% working, or fixed of all the bugs. In fact, being an XDA forum lurk...

Why the f'ing around?

There's absolutely no reason why the Droid 4 shouldn't get ICS. There's also no reason for Moto to take so long to deliver ICS to phones, except they insist on including Blur, even though people hate it.

Hopefully, if Google gets their hands on Moto soon, they can change things for the better.
