Or you can go to T-Mobile.

And get 5 GB for $25.
you mean 5gb of 3G.
we talking about LTE here.
just did a speedtest on att LTE in san francisco area, 23.3mb download, 13.3mb upload.
...
Yeah I guess if you want a cap of 5GB & non-existent data service outside of major metro areas. Trust me, been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. Had T-Mobile for 10 years & put up with horsesh!t data speeds or non-existent data coverage all over the...

T-Mobile's data network leaves a lot to be desired. I'd rather pay more but have coverage than save a few bucks and suffer horrendous or non-existent service.

Just my 2 cents on the matter...

Hopefully this is true, i checked Verizonwireless.com at 4:24pm 2/7/12 and looked around on their site and mention nothing about this.

why pay for internet?

when you can switch to sprint and get it all included in your plan? just sayin...
Do you really think you're not still "paying for internet" just because Sprint advertises it bundled together?
Verizon: faster 3G, grandfathered unlimited plan, good customer service and more coverage
Sprint: SLOWER 3G, they also throttle their data speeds so their towers won't get congested and they can keep the unlimited data, and TERRIBLE customer service

I work for Sprint and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Their data speeds are PATHETIC! Took my friend 10 minutes to download the speed test app where as it took me not even a minute on AT&T. Funny, I had less bars than him. Verizon actually gives a da...

why cant i get deal like that on att??

i want to double my att data. 4gb for 30$!
i'm gladly to pay 5$ more each month for 4gb !
currently i have 2gb for 25$
AT&T now has 3GB for $30 - that's a current price, not a promotion for all SMT devices, 3G or 4G.

These Kinds of Promotions

Really undermine the argument that they need to switch to tiered data plans because mobile bandwidth is scarce and overuse is causing network congestion.....
Danm right.
i'd say you have a point if they were doubling 3G plans as well but they're not

This promotion is to entice customers to switch to the 4G network in an effort to expand that footprint

Good, but we need cheaper plans too

That's a good start. (although why not for 3G customers, like iPhone users?)

But I would like to see a plan of, like, 2 GB for $15/month. Which is more in my budget. An extra $30 may be too much for many people to spend. But $15 is more manageable.
why pay for internet when you can switch to sprint and get it included in your plan? 🙂

When are the shared family data plans coming out, it may be a better option than separate plans for each line.
sure, they gladly to offer you a 15$ data plan. 50mb for 15$. haha
