Quad-band from T-Mobile? NOT!!
T-Mobile offering a phone that's 850 MHz capable? Then why did they bother crippling the V600? Hmmm... 🙄
Let's just say that based on previous experience, this phone probably won't be quad-band AND from T-Mobile...
(personal commentary) Now if CINGULAR gets it, not only would it be quad-band, it would be UNLOCKED too!! 😁
I'm not surprised that it's a Quad-Band. I have a feeling that now that we're seeing a convergence of the GSM carriers, the US will adopt a roaming model similar to Europe's. Check out this link for a T-Mobile press release talking about a potential...

Fascinating thoughts to bones boy regarding the new Blackberry, however I would like to correct you on several errors.
First off, T-Mobile is an internationally focused company vs say Cingular of Sprint or Verizon, while Cingular carries a very sma...

Will other carriers ever get it?
I know that T-Mobile is going to get the 7100, but will other carriers get this phone eventually?
No, hahahahahahaha, you sorry bastards this one was developed specifically for us!! muwahahha
It's quad-band. It has 850. I imagine RIM would love for all carriers to offer it. And based on the fact that Cingular and AT&T seem to be very strong with RIM, I don't see them skipping this one. Just speculation, though...

It's different, b...

Almost the ultimate phone.....
why couldn't they combine wifi with it? 🙄
Give RIM time... they shrink the thing, price it for the mass market, AND you expect them to shoehorn Wifi into it?!? 🙄
Methinks it's like buying a Renault Twingo & expecting both a V-12 turbo engine AND a GPS-driven navigation system. Not l...

RIM devices really don't need 802.11- do they? The whole concept is email anywhere, not at a HotSpot or the office. And I don't think the "browser" qualifies for any speed more then EDGE will eventually provide.
