For LTE, there should be higher options

I'd say do it like Sprint did with their mobile broadband plans before they raped them: unlimited 4G (LTE) with a limit on 3G (HSPA+ included). Since LTE is so much faster and not as available, they shouldn't worry too much about making that unlimited, especially since the speeds let you blow past it so fast.
There shouldn't be a limit wth 5 markets having it available right now, but the limits and prices are a bit odd. Although on Sprint now 1GB = $51.20 with their overage rates. 😳
I see this argument a lot, but it doesn't make sense. Let's say we have a website that uses 150KB of data. Not much. Let's say it takes 10 seconds to load on 3G and 2 seconds on LTE. It's still loading 150KB total, on 3G and LTE. One might say, "But y...

The more data intensive phones become, the greater the need to offload some of it to WiFi networks...and, let's be fair here, it isn't like at&t, in saying 'use WiFi' is leaving their customers high and dry, there are thousands of free at&t WiFi hots...

There are higher options, if you go over you get another GB for 10 bucks that's really not a bad deal 1 cent a MB really at that point, if they came out and said you could get 5 GB for $50 bucks that wouldn't be to bad depending on how much you use it...

Add bandwidth, make data faster, then cap it lower and charge more. Huh?

I think the subject says it all. What's the benefit of LTE if the caps are low, and you can exceed them way quicker because of the speed? Seems like a flawed model.
The caps for the LTE are IDENTICAL to the 3G caps....they are not 'capping lower' or 'charging more'.....

I suspect that over time as bandwidth increases and the network is big enough to handle the load, the caps will be raised....but right now the...

Very affordable, where can I sign up?

Really low pricing AT&T for LTE data, lol. These cell carriers are going to end up gouging people like this on data pricing or crippling (capping, throttling) data so badly, that a lot of people are going to say forget about data after awhile & go back to just a calling/texting. You can load a lot of content onto the phone like movies, music, etc. that at some point, the carrier could be unnecessary for data if they keep lowering these thresholds. A ridiculously low 200MB of data use in a month is a joke.
I understand the point you're trying to make but, the same could have been said about the price of gas, now days. It hasn't kept people from buying it or driving, they just curb their usage for the most part. People will always use what's available, n...

AT&T, They killed the unlimited data plan

Go figure no unlimited data here. Total BS.
