does anyone actually have the unlock code for this phone?

bought the phone for tmobile need to unlock it for cingular.help!
Unlock codes are unique to each phone and are therefore linked, inextricably, to the phone's IMEI. There's not an unlock code for each model, there's an unlock code for each individual phone. T-Mobile has your unlock code. I understand their unlock...

Motorola a630 with MyFaves?

Hello,

I've heard some stories about people setting up unlocked phones with MyFaves, but I have a MyFaves RAZR right now and since im a texting addict its not really convenient especially with the horrible iTAP. Since the MyFaves is already set up through my T-Mobile online account, will the selected numbers still be free when I call using the A630?

THANKS!

"How To" for converting your T-Mobile A630 to a FULL Working Cingular Version!

Hello everyone. After searching for answers on how to do this for almost a week I finally got it.

PICTURES WILL BE POSTED LATER IN THE HOWARDFORUMS POST.

There is no need to edit any "seems", or change and HEX values. It's very straight forward.

All the menus are cingualr, the startup screen is the orange splat on the outter and inner lcd. It's just like a cingular version.

Here is my post on howardforums.com about it. It's under another one of my alaises, but you can still get a hold of me at justinbwill@gmail.com like it's listed in this thread.

Here is the link: http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?s=&thr eadid=630519
I found your instructions on hofo. When I unzip the files it gives me an error says compression file unkown. Any ideas? I can unzip other files.

aol msg. & txt msg. I got reamed

👿

Wow, I just found out that my first month with tmobile will be costing me around $170+ for the month.
I am getting s#$%^% with text messaging.
Aol messenger is definately not part of tzones unlimited. Each and every one of those messages is a text message, and if you go over your alloted text plan it's five cents for each message there after.
I was signed up to the 300 mess. plan, and did something like over 1100 msgs, all on aol mssngr.
They are charging me $59.00 just for text messages alone 👿, and will not reduce the cost or anything.
This tmobile rep I spoke with was very nice, and sympathetic, but that doesn't help my bill. She took memos of what I called for.
What really burns me is that When I had origina...

Diddo, plus I try to get the fine print either online or thru a dealer.
i dont remember where i heard this from, but i heard that when you do aol text messaging, each message counts as 6 regular txt messages(on ur phone).
if you remember the reps name and the date you called they keep every call logged into their computers, i work with telesales with t-mobile and we have all the calls logged, so as long as you have that info you just need a supervisor to listen to the ...

Can someone answer a few questions about the A630?

Hello, I have had the Nokia 6800 for awhile and just recently i took out the battery and sim to test phones (i am a cell phone seller) And when i put it all back in it wouldnt turn on. So i lost all my info in there if anyone got any idea on what happened there id appreciate knowing. The loss of that phone brings me to the A630 ive like the look of it for along time since it was put out and the fact the screens inside it helps alot to. I see phone scoops description and what they think this phone has inside and what you all think it does to but the fact is most people dont know enough about phone to really know if something does ordoes not have something. So i will leave it up to popular opinion. Here are my questions:

Does this camera ha...

6820, 3300 or A630

I know I asked about the Treo 600 before and realized I don't need a pda. I need a phone with a keyboard. So I've looked at my options and these are my choices but I'd like some insight on which is better. If anyone would share their opinions I'd be thankful!
The 6820 and 3300 are both Series 40 devices, which means they have rather small 128x128 screens. The A630's screen is 220x176 - and landscape to boot - so if you're looking for a messaging phone I would recommend it over either of the other two.

Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my A630 for over 2 months now. I absolutely love it. Here's the problem. My phone book on the sim card from my old nextel was unable to be transferred to my new t-mobile phone. OK. I entered every single number manually. With a little help from the T-mobile website which you can upload numbers. I entered numbers into the phone as follows. for example: adam's home went under adam's home number. (easy right) wrong...) When I add adam's cell number under his original entry it will only save it on the phone itself and not the sim card. I only found this out today while at my local T-mobile store. Here lies my next problem my phone is now broken. the inside screen doesn't work I can no longer view anything on it. The phone still di...

I am guessing that it is discontinued. That was a short lived phone. (Nov-Jul).

I remember that the Moto V300 was available for at least 2 1/2 years before they discontinued it.

A630 replacement?

Any idea if there is an A630 replacement in the works. It's a great phone and I would hate to go back to a `standard' phone without a QWERTY pad and I wouldn't want to carry a bulky Palm, BB or WinOS phone. I would just like to see some improvements in the software apps and maybe more memory for text messages.

aim buddy list for A630

I have a couple of questions.
First is, why is the on and offline lists not match the computer?...For example, one of my buddies that I know are not online show up on my phone buddy list under the catagory "online."
Second, is the buddy list really pulled from a random group of buddies off my computer buddy list?
The Buddy List should be pulled from a Mobile Buddies goup on your buddy list. I can't really help you with the list being out of sync. Does that person also have a mobile phone? Do you have his phone number entered as a 'buddy'? +12125551212?
