Why not?

Its a great possibility that Microsoft will succeed with the mobile operating system it has under its belt. At the same time Android is moving fast and IOS rules everything mobile.

I think Android will continue to pass IOS, but the Iphone will be the best phone being sold.
Maybe but every single windows phone my store has carried have not really sold at all. No one was impressed with them, no one really cared about linking it with their xbox live account.

In the end, our stores pulled them as the sales didn't meet ex...

Why would MS get paid for selling an Android phone and not a Windows phone?

I don't get this post on Phonescoop.com. Why would microsoft get paid for every Android phone that is sold and built by HTC/Samsung? Wouldn't Microsoft benefit if they sold a Windows Phone device that was built by Samsung/HTC?

Can someone clarify, or am i reading it wrong?
windows phones is not selling that well, and if you want money from htc or samsung.
htc/samsung can just stop making windows phones!

I wonder if this will turn the tables....

It's pretty obvious that Android uses patented technology from other companies making it a little less than "open-source".

I wonder if the cost of these licensing agreements will eventually be more than the cost of simply purchasing the Windows phone 7 OS?
