Perfect Comeback Kid scenario for both HTC and webOS
If that were to happen that would absolutely be kickass. I have used all of the OSes and can vouch the only real contender is webOS. An HTC or Samsung product with webOS would give android a run for its money because it is polished and clean as iOS and has none of the legal baggage like android.
Don't get me wrong I loved my iPhone (had to leave ATT, currently on Sprint), I would still be with my Palm Pre if it weren't for the missing Key Apps that I'm sure Samsung or HTC can make or work with the developers. Look at the Sense 3.0 or Touchwiz look at some of the their own "homebrew" Apps and Widgets.
It can be done, I have a TouchPad aside from lacking an external camera, its is pretty decent. If it had a cheaper price point and more...
