I work in the wireless industry, and the first thing that jumps out about this article is the fact that iphone4 is like any other Apple product, closed...meaning you cannot access the interior of the phone. There isn't a micro SIM card slot accessible without tearing the phone apart. The second thing is T-Mobile's network...HSPA+ isn't 4G, it's 3G on Steroids. Currently there are 2 types of iphone4's on the market, one that is sold by ATT and runs off their GSM, and one that is sold by Verizon and operates on CDMA. If T-Mobile had anything to do with developing any type of software that would allow a competitors devices to function on their network don't you think it would be all over the news and in courtrooms across America? The GSM iPhone 4 most certainly has an accessible SIM card slot. It's on the side. Look at one.
There are plenty of ways to (legally) unlock an iPhone, and you can even buy them unlocked. From Apple. Here:

Is there a way to view the exact amount of storage the user has avaliable for use and the total amount of storage space on the 16gb and 32gb models?

I don't know if you guys have noticed....
If you begin to have a Visual Voicemail issue to where it does not show any missed calls or messages or ask for a password or if your phone slows in responsiveness or connects to Safari fairly slowly the solution is to Reset Network Settings. This is just something I've been helping people out with as an AT&T rep. The only thing to this is that you'll have to reconfigure WiFi Hotspots and other WiFi networks along with their VPN's. If it still ask for a password regarding the VVM then you'll have to call to have us reset it.
To do this Settings< General< Reset< Reset Network Settings. It may prompt for your Security Password\Passcode then the device will reboot.

iPhone 4 Facebook App Issues
Is anyone else having issues with the Facebook App specifically on the iPhone4.
Mine seems to be giving me random numbers of notifications, and when I check my notifications I only have like 2-3 in reality, but the icon shows like a high random number.
Also the notification bar on the bottom stays red with the latest notification and it does not refresh after I view my notifications.
These are two of my issues, and they persist sometimes for more than 2 hours.
Reply back if you have the same issues or with any recommendations on how to solve the issues besides rebooting the phone.

have you tried deleting the app and re-downloading it? that fixes about 90% of all app related errors

Question about sound quality on iPhone 4..... Why doesn't sound come out of BOTH speakers??
My husband and I both have the new iPhone 4 and have had them for 2 weeks now. We are just very curious about the two small speakers on the bottom of the phone. Both of our phones only emit sound from the right speaker. There is no sound coming out of the left side.... is this normal? Are other people's phones doing the same thing or is there something wrong with ours?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.... just wanted to check and see before I call Apple or go to the Apple store to inquire about it.

Nevermind..... just looked in the Apple iPhone forums and found out that the left side is a microphone and the right side is the speaker..... now I feel dumb. LOL.

Apple newb needs advice
I know there are some hardcore apple junkies out there that can make the thing change their tv station. All i want to know is there a way to get ringtones on and off the phone easily without purchasing them from itunes. Also is it even possible to use my text message alerts i made myself other than the ones that come on the phone. I like my new iphone 4 but i hate when they seriously restrict the phone from doing things easily just to make another buck off me.

I receive a bunch of e-mails with PDF attachments every day. My iPhone 4 opens them randomly, sometimes it opens all of them, then a moment later it opens some and does not open the others. Then I go back and it opens the one it did not before, but can't open the one it did 5 min ago, and so on, very annoying 🙄 Any ideas? thanks.

Does anyone else have a problem with the phone dropping bluetooth connections? Never had a problem with my 3G but this phone drops about once a day.
I don't have a problem with it dropping, but its basically unusable as people cant hear me and I have to just shut it off. I've re-paired it but doesn't seem to solve the problem. Makes me mad because it took me forever to find a comfortable ear pie...

I have been reading the reviews and the negative ones all endorse droid phones. How are you determining the features and everything for the phone if you don't own one? Apple is going to smooth this all over tomorrow morning. They are going to offer free bumpers for iPhone 4 owners, and announce the release date for the white version. All will be forgotten and Apple will be on top of the world.
