Play Nice for now?

I wonder if AT&T is just posturing, allowing this, so they look like they're playing nice. Honestly, they probably figure its no big deal, since the Epic Fail I mean the PlayBook isn't exactly flying of the shelves.
I always wonder about ATT's motives when there late with these types of things.
The holdup probably had more to do with AT&T wanting an extra $20 from it's customers for web surfing. I don't think they really knew how to handle the Bridge app. It's a little unique.
