do you want better coverage or save a few bucks??

with the merger, you can access BOTH att and tmboile towers!
or save a few bucks, and have NO SERVICE on some areas!
Some people WANT to save a few bucks. even if it means coverage not available in certain areas.
...
you wont get greater coverage. here is why:

1.att will have to divest spectrum in markets where the coverage is redudant with tmobile
2.att will dismantle tmobiles AWS service and replace tmobile's 3G with LTE. Tmobile coverage is effectively tra...

If I were you, I would make a complaint to ATT and have them start using the spectrum they already have in storage. Chances are, they hold spectrum in your area and beyond but have chosen not to build on it. They could have given you better coverage a...

AT&T would be bigger then Verizon

essentially it would be AT&T and Verizon making up like 90% of the telecommunications industry in the US. I wonder if this goes through, if Verizon will make a bid on Sprint just to try to even the tides.

I personally think that if the deal goes through, the FCC is gonna take alot of hacking at it first. It won't look like the same proposal that is put on the table. Not by a long shot.

Come on......

What's there to schedule????
A GSM Monopoly? People need choice, it is that simple.

I'm shocked...

that nobody has mentioned Bill Gates and Steve Jobs in this and compared to the most infamous duopoly of micro/mac. I mean, look at computers. You have one choice... unless you want to be a snob... j/k mac users.

I'm just sick of idiots asking me about how it feels to own T-mobile. Next customer who does is going to get popped.

FIRST...

And I hope the US Sentate realizes this deal will reduce competition! Wake up people...there will be are no other major GSM carriers!
This will extend beyond just having one GSM carrier. This will effect all technologies. The Goldilocks' of carriers are narrowed to just two choices. If one of the bears eats TMO, Sprint is the remaining middleweight. Once this happens. Verizon is poi...

Nobody cares that you're first by the way and secondly, the deal...
