Microsoft Targeting NFC for Next Version of Windows Phone

all over again. the next gen windows phones will all ship with an NFC chip which won't work right for some convenient reason, and microsoft will toil away for months coming up with an update to fix it.

As BIG as Mcsft is, there's no excuse for these sorts of OS delays. It's really, really pathetic that copy/paste is a feature that is almost always neglected. In smartphones it should be an automatic feature.
Why not get the OS up to par first?
Not a single colleague of mine has anything positive to say about their Windows 7 phones....this was touted as the next big thing but seems to have lost all interest by mobile consumers. NFC will be the worst can of worms to be opened up here......it works well in Asia but there's something about the ease of passing your phone over a sensor to pay for something..

It works just fine in Asia & Europe, there's no reason it won't work just fine in the U.S.
