My 2 cents...

My own personal opinion is that he was asked to step down. That is usually the case when a CEO steps down for "personal reasons".
While the guy was a pioneer, it comes down to the ol' Paula Abdul: What have you done for me lately?
He has made a few choices (as well as non-choices) that have him looking like a chump.
I don't know if Sprint had a hand in forcing his resignation but it wouldn't surprise me. Sprint is doing pretty well in the eye of the public these days so I can see them raising a stink over its partner looking pretty poor.
I don't believe that this is bad for Clear though. Getting a new ceo can often be a good thing. Just look what Hesse was able to do...
Other key members of rank have also left. The ongoing feud with the parent company, is undoubtedly weighing in heavily from pressure.

Sure looks like Clear is getting a bit shaky with Sprint likely moving to LTE 🙂 haha not to mention the throttling issues for Clear customers.
