Good News

So after helping build and promote ATT despite being limited in what they could even sell, the rug is being pulled out from under them. Classy move ATT. Now the 3rd party resellers can focus more time on selling ATT competitors, the carriers who still respect them.
Actually, the reason the rug was pulled out from under them as you put it, is that those two companies created the most amount of churn for EVERY company, not just AT&T. They were the only ones who were PO'd about it so far though.

is to re-label their 3G as 4G!
on att map, it shows i got 4G coverage in bayarea, CA!
BS! i have htc inspire 4G, the speedtest is even lower than regular 3G phones!
Incorrect.

Thank god

These people might save you a few bucks, but the contract with them makes it difficult for agent such as myself to do our jobs. rate plans and features have to changed through wirefly? WTF

Shady Agents

Whenever a customer brings a box into my store from of these online agents, there is no amount of mental preparation I can do to prepare myself for the madness that ensues.

These guys lure in customers with dirt cheap prices on handsets and trap you with shady provisions and hidden costs. They both have their own contracts, on top of the carrier's they're re-selling, that penalize you $250 for making even the slightest cosmetic changes to your plan within the first 6 months of your plan.

The wireless game is infested with enough shady practices as is. It's now a better place now that Wirefly and Let's Talk are no longer selling AT&T. All of these dirt bag agents are churn machines. I hope the door doesn't hit them on the way out.
These guys are some of the worst con-artists out there.

Amazon Next?

Amazon is known for the same practice. How long before they are severed from ATT's affiliation?
