SWEET!!

Well that will be great for Verizon to finally offer a phone that can be used in Europe as well. That is the one drawback for CDMA technology is that you can't use it in most other countries.

In related news...

... the FCC also approved the first GSM/TDMA/CDMA/EDGE phone. It's being manufactured jointly by Motorola, Nokia, SonyEricsson, Microsoft and Krispy Kreme Donuts. Sadly, the phone will not work on the Sprint Network (of course!!), within 200 feet of a movie theater, or in any country/state beginning with the letters "I" or "M". 😉

You know, I almost had T-shirts made up with the Nokia "3605" on the front. It didn't work out, but that would have been sweet... mmmm, Krispy Kreme... 😁
