Sounds like

the blackberry app store set up. The one thing I used to get frustrated with when i had an android device was that it was so hard to find apps sometimes. I wasn't the user who wanted to download sounds boards, etc. I want stuff I can use for school and business so it was difficult sometimes.
Except with Android you don't have to reboot your phone every time a new App is installed 🤣

update? when?

This has to be a joke. The Samsung Fascinate is still waiting for the froyo update for 3 months now. I have 1 more week b4 the 30 days and honestly, much thought is being given to giving it back and getting the Apple Iphone. If it takes this long for an update I worry if a serious issue came up how long it would take to resolve.

Refund option...

Man, I wish that was one thing Apple let you do with the App Store. I think people are a bit less willing to take risk on apps that have only a few reviews, which kind of hurts up and coming developers.

But man, I didn't know Apps couldn't be larger than 50MB. I've got a game on my iPhone that's around 400MB. I wonder why they made such a restriction...
I didn't know there was a restriction either! It's cool they're increasing it to include some better apps.
Most big apps install a stub (1-5mb) on the phone, and then store the data on the SD card or internal memory.

Previous to this, the limit was 15mb

They also have reduced the refund time from 24 hours to 15 minutes. You got 15 minutes to decide if you want a refund.

more info?

Will this be an ota update included with 2.2.1? does this apply to rooted users as well?
It will push out to any device running 1.6 or higher. The market updates itself and will update on most roms as well, unless they have something built in that blocks it.

The 15 minute window is backend though
