Sprint Makes Strides in Green Efforts

Smoke and Mirrors

The other day I threw away a large trash can full of brochures, flyers, price plan books, posters, exc.because Sprint decided to put out new material.

I understand that we need to change out things form time to time, but most of this was unnecessary. The new price plan book had the EXACT information as the old ones, the only difference I could find was the front cover had a different picture on it.

This kind of thing happens every other month or so as some bigwig decides to change things up a bit, so it filters down to the store level.

I called other stores, and they said they had thrown away a significant amount of perfectly good plan books as well. Take that times 4500+ stores and it makes you wonder how many trees were dest...

They could at least recycle the brochures! Phonebooks get recycled. Most people don't use phonebooks these day, especially us smartphone geeks.
I happen to think this is a great program. Sprint has already been recognized for their green efforts and this takes it to another level.

As far as you throwing out old material: Paper products are recycled. So if you are using the recycling bin, ...
