Apple and Motorola Tangle Over Patents
The fact Motorola isn't dead is what's amusing...
A desperate attempt by VZW to push the Droid as a legitimate iPhone competitor gave them a dead cat bounce, but they're still making less than $1.00 per handset sold- and Google is footing the bill for the core OS *and* advertising. And you can whine about the reported issues the Palm Pre or iPhone 4 has had, it's a drop in the bucket next to any turd in Motorola's lineup today.
I don't know how any company that makes the Q, the RAZR (Especially Sprint's version), the CLIQ, The I1, The Backflip, the FlipOut, the Q9M, and the ROKR still stays in business. H...

Patenting an "Idea" is stupid. Software programming, hardware design, of course. But saying "we don't care HOW you made it work, since it looks similar, we're going to sue" is counter productive.
