Phone Picture Media Types

Can the LG Octane phone support most of the picture media type such as JPG, GIF, TIFF or does it only support a proprietary to the LG Octane? The Verizon rep I spoke to said it may not support all of the types. I want to upgrade from the phone I have and plan on transferring the pictures via the MicroSD memory card method.

LG Octane auto-reset problem

I am having the auto-reset problem with the LG Octane. It seems to power cycle about every 20 seconds I have been through 3 different Octanes now and all of them have done it. I previously owned a Droid and in reading some other posts, it seems to be a common link. I can't afford the $30/month data package any more, but want to keep my current number. I really like the feel of the Octane, so I want to keep the phone, but surley would like it to work for me.

Has anyone found a definitive solution to this problem yet?

Retrieving pictures

What is the best way i.e. cheapest, to get pictures out of this phone?
1. Send them via text message to an email address (.25 per if you don't have a texting plan)

2. get a microSD card, and then you can transfer them to that and send directly to a computer (just cost of card)

i cant even begin to fathom enough ways to make fun of that title

because LG is garbage and anything they make they fail at it. verizon has the right idea with motorola and htc
that looks like something out of hello kitty
Yikes! What's so bad about LG? I've never owned one of their phones.

If you haven't used any of the VZW LG phones then you do not know what the heck you are talking about.

Don't compare LG GSM phones with LG CDMA phones for VZW because quality is way better than the ones Samsung makes (talking about regular phones a...

This phone isnt that bad

Im excited about this phone because its the 1st one in a long time thats good that DOSENT require a data plan.

It also marks the end of 3g Media phones (yeah)

Ive also played with the phone and it looks feels and acts like a solid phone.

Hopefully it dosent have power issues like the ENV line of phones. 🙂
