3G or not?

I just got an Airave today and I'm not sure if it is 3G or not. How do I tell? I am kind of guessing not since there is no 3G service within 150 miles of me.

Are the calls made charged?

If you use this airave, do you still get charged for making calls or does it go through the internet and not get billed?

Why does Sprint have to 'review' each purchase--

The monthly occuring charge is $0 now. It just hasn't been communicated with everyone yet. God knows how our existing customer's who are paying $4.99/month for this are going to react when they find out its free now. 😳
read the post again the airave is for free and no 4.99 charge if you qualify
