The question I have is...

Why? Sprint is already doing Wi-Max. Why do they want to prove that they can do LTE better? Are they going to do it in 700MHz so that their devices can roam off of VZW and AT&T? Is the government going to mandate data roaming? If not good luck getting a competitor to allow your customers to roam on their fledgling network.
just to fill you in, Sprint has 4 times the amount of spectrum that Verizon has. So when they decide to roll out more data they have the Spectrum set already for it.

This is a very good question. I hope I can answer it correctly.

Sprint has been preparing for this era for years. While many carriers were busy swiping up other smaller carriers for subscribers, Sprint was busy horting precious spectrum for the fut...

Someone please help me here..

Can Sprint take the Nextel spectrum at 850 mhz and put LTE there? Of course this means they would be getting rid of the iDEN network I would think. Anyone?

Why Sprint is da' best mayne' :P

Most improved customer experience out of ANY company in ALL industries in the last 2 years.

Only Verizon has slightly more voice coverage and 3G coverage than Sprint (Sprint #2 in dropped calls behind big red but their 3G signal IS stronger than Verizons)

Only one w/ 4G and only one that can reach the 20mpbs-70mpbs threshold even when others get 4G.

Plans much much cheaper than Verizon & AT&T

EVO is the best phone out hands down.

Epic 4G WILL be Epic.

Last quarter first quarter in 3 years to see an addition in cell subscribers (maybe people are finally getting the idea).

Keep it up Sprint. 🙂

Why can't we make any of this?

Why is it the US is not into manufacturing anything nowadays? We even outsource maintaining our wireless networks! Grow deficit grow!
The money is worthless in any case. Let's just all pretend that it isn't though. Okay?
