I receive soo many calls of people complaining about this phone's malfunction... so a bad phone for a bad company.. its alright...
I've read that the Curve 8530 has all the durability of a toy. I know from empiric experience that Metro's network is horrible with frequent EVDO outages.

If you don't need unlimited minutes then...

Virgin Mobile has cheaper Blackberry plans. $35/month gets you 300 minutes with unlimited everything else on a Blackberry 8530 and $50/month gets you 1200 minutes with unlimited everything else. I think Virgin Mobile operates on the Sprint network.
Wow, I wish those sorts of plans were available with an Android smartphone!

I think it counts as news. Not "major" news but news because it's the first time a Blackberry will be available to a substantial number of customers. Their previous blackberry ...
