Clearwire 4G update

Some people were interested in how it works in Houston...


I have it for about a month now and its lovely. Its like DSL.
I watched hulu lol I've never heard of it before and decided to check it out and it worked great with my 4g card.

I live in Las Vegas, and there's Clear 4G here, I had it for a while, had to minimize my budget, anyway, do you ever get above 15mbps there? I reached that speed like twice.

Extremely Impressed

I cannot wait for Wimax to reach its potential (or until later this year, next year).

Especially when coupled w/ a device like the HTC EVO

what does this do for date speeds on your cell?

i dont really know much about this stuff so can someone explain what kinda of speeds you should expect on your cell phone? thanks go lakers 😁
If you have a 4G device you should expect speeds similar to broadband on the wireless device. It's like having wireless DSL.

Considering

They haven't even rolled out the original Wi-Max Service Nationwide yet....

Does that mean that cities like Philadelphia are all ready out dated?
From the article:

"The new technology will be backwards compatible with the original WiMAX networks."
