I wonder?

How long will I be able to use this app before it causes me to drive off of a cliff or though a Dairy farm?
I'm guessing as soon as you try and find something near where you are..

When I used mapquest, I found it became increasingly less accurate the shorter the distance I wanted to navigate.. like it was saying "really? you really need me to go across...

I cant help but think that people who drive off a cliff because their gps told them to are complete idiots. I follow my gps to a certain point. If something doesnt seem right....like no more road ahead of me, I stop.

free????? not really.

Two apps, MapQuest 4 Mobile (no turn by turn, but there are voice prompts) and MapQuest Navigator.

The first one (MapQuest 4 Mobile) is a basic map application just like google maps, except it does have voice promts when you need to turn. It is NOT a navigation program by any real stretch of the imagination.

I looked up MapQuest Navigator in the App store and found the application itself is $0.99 and it has teired pricing;

30 days: 3.99
90 days: 9.99
365 days: 29.99

It's cheap, yeah, but certainly not free.

I'd rather pay Navigon $30.00 for my region and keep it forever as well as gain a TON of features MapQuest does not have.

This is not a news item.
In fact...
This seems more like an ad.
dude, the ability to get lost for 30 a year is a great value
