Apple should allow other browsers on their platform.
Not only would this speed up surfing considerably for users (especially in EDGE) but it would also lessen the data requirements in areas where people adopted it.

I know they are finally opening the development process for other browsers... but this one, frankly, spanks them when it comes to browsing.

I watched that video and the one the phone scoop made where they tested the speed of the safari vs the opera mini 5. Opera mini 5 killed them.
I doubt if you will see the opera mini 5 on the Touch or Iphone. I hope I am wrong.

Forget about it.
No way will Apple give Opera access to the Iphone and Touch. I love the Opera Browser, and would pay to download it on my Ipod Touch. I am not impress with the Safari browser at all.
