Verizon/AT&T

Come on you guys, give up that spectrum that you are hogging, and not using. You have nearly 100MHz of spectrum in many areas.

Give it to the poorer carriers, such as T-Mobile, and Sprint.
I would not be one bit surprised if VZW throws away their 1700 MHz AWS spectrum under a deal like this, but AT&T is a more likely buyer then T-mobile. T-mobile already has a nationwide block of AWS just like VZW's 700 MHz holdings.

Sprint has a TON of spectrum from the Nextel Buyout.
I remember one time somebody on PS said Sprint has the most spectrum, and the most backhaul.

Too bad...

...that spectrum is a finite resource. We need femtocells. We can always lay more fiber optic.
