Who the frig cares?

As long as I've got a decent search client on my phone (which Bing most assuredly is), I could care less.
I'm sure many people will disagree.

its because...

if uve been reading anything about the rumored nexus one/google phone...all the members of the Open Handset Alliance would feel alienated right about now....if google actually does release a google-branded phone...consumers would rather buy a "GOOGLE PHONE" than a moto droid, or whatever...its stealing thunder away from vzw marketing campaign...

the reason google would do this is although android has grown to more than most ppl's expectations, it has not grown to google's expectations....OHA members (like moto and samsung) have released pretty lame androids so far...and not supporting them properly...causing stagnation in androids growth...google is out to change the world by pushing android to take over mobile like they did the internet....

I don't know what you just said, but I have to admit I've been using Bing and Google concurrently and tend to prefer Bing results.

This sucks! Blackberry, Google! Why did you take it off? I hate Bing; and now, I have to use that Google quick search? I don't like it at all!

It's Verizon's fault, and not RIM (BlackBerry) or G...

Backstab

This is pure backstabbing. If I was google I would stop supporting the Droid, Eris and any other android OS coming out with software updates, etc.

I did a battery pull and register host rounting table on my Tour and still have those options. I guess its only for the Storm1 and Storm2.
Now THAT would be biting off one's nose to spite one's face. Don't they get paid for every customer using an Android device?

Why would google stop supporting their product? That would be like RIM saying they wouldn't support blackberry any longer. Would be pretty pointless for Google to remain in the wireless industry at that point.

Why aren't the AT&T fanboys here ragi...

Carriers in a nutshell

VZW: finding every possible way to screw over consumers and ruining any phone that isn't utter garbage.

AT&T: cheaping out on network upgrades, leadership has foot perpetually in their own mouth.

Sprint: cant do nothin right. by the way we cut ourselves and tell you our flagship phones are crap too.

T-Mobile: hello!??? anyone!???
You forgot cricKet.

(PS: I agree with the comments about Verizon)

you have completely missed the point!! we all know we can bookmark any search page. The point is that our Blackberry's have been changed with a product that is inferior and choice was ripped out of our hands. It would have been okay if "bing" was adde...

Microsoft got that money

Money will eliminate your competition. 🤣

I really hope they don't start making searches exclusive like they proposed to do. I.E. The Wallstreet Journal information will only be on Bing.com's search engine instead of yahoo and google, thus making customers have to use different search engines for different results, OMG that would be such a pain. 👿
and paying people to say bing is better! haha (my opinion). haha

google results shows the last updated date!
bing shows no DATE on results, so you might click on a link that is 10 years old! y would you want to wasting time clicking on links t...
