Sprint Still # 1

I give Tmobile two thumbs up but they still fall short of the everything data plan 450 for 69.99. If you have a bb you still have to do that bb add on which comes with the plan that sprint has to offer. Also the network at sprint is better. Good Try Tmobile you almost have it. But with Unt mobile Calling on the sprint plan it's like having an unt plan for 69.99 than if you do happen to get 15-25% off like most due based on whom they work with they save even more.
sorry dude, hate to burst your sprint bubble but $79.99 gets you unlimited everything including bb devices. unlike sprint who only gives you 450 mins to call land lines and to roam, you'll use those min up just calling customer care every month to fix...

So here's another fact If I want to change to one of the plans seeing i'm in a contract right now I have to pay a 200.00 etf to switch to the SOOOOO GREAT NON CONTRACT PLANS I understand that but also there is a 35.00 fee to change the plan.... Still ...

So

Was this project black, dark, whatever? 😕
I don't think price changes will pull TMO out of 4th place.
Agreed.

Where's this nationwide 3g coverage they talk about on their webpage?

MyFaves? Here or Gone?

Sorry to be asking but I keep seeing this posted in different comments on different topics relating to the same thing. T-Mobile MyFaves, is it gone? for sure? Did these new plans replace them or are these new plans along side of the MyFaves plans? I have not seen anywhere that MyFaves is Gone as some have continued to post. I just want to be clear.

Is MyFaves Gone for sure?
gone...but u can still keep ur grandfathered rate plan if u realllllly want it...

How is New T-Mob Plans game changing??

OK, How is this a smart move??? Lets do the math on all of this.

1 Line no Contract on T Mobile

Cost of Curve $349
24 Months of
Service $1679

Total Cost $2028

This gets you 1000 anytime minutes, unlimited nights at 9pm and t mobile to t mobile

Addt costs $10mo. Telenav Voice turn by turn
Insurance $6mo.

Lets assume you get both these features

Total cost is now $2412 over 24 months, yes I know no contract, but you cant "leave" t mobile until your phone is paid off.

Now what does Sprint Have??? Only saying this because T-Mobile isnt comparing itself to Sprint, hmm wonder why, take a look!!

BB Curve with Sprint $50 after MIR(2 yr con)
24 Months of Service $1679

This includes 450 anytime minutes...

"How is New T-Mob Plans game changing??"

It is the case of no contracts involved.

Imagine if you can get the typical subsidy on the phone with no contract. TMo has not explained the details on this, but if true is game changing.

And that typi...

Why would you add a third party charge? Lets add $50 on both plans too for ring tone downloads.

Very Smart...

This has got to be one of the smartest moves t-mobile has made yet and its no contract which makes it even better. Superb Job to T-Mob
i know.

and they don't have kids on iphone clogging up the line.

this is not a hating post. just saying sometimes less is better.
I don't know. Getting rid of MyFaves was probably a mistake. For the most part, I don't think Americans are ready for unsubsidized phones. Is any money actually being saved, especially if a phone is financed? I'm sure there will be interest charge...

YES no contract is definetly a good thing!!! I belive businesses should earn a customer, not bind them!!!

Personally I haven't been under contract for 4yrs.

So now not only do New Customers get better deals on phones then a customer that has been with us for 7 yrs.. thiose who do not want a contract can have plans cheaper than those of us who have been loyal for sooo many years!! Game changing indeed! I definitely didn't expect this one... One thing you got right tho , we are now out of the 4th position and into 8th. Thank you for Screwing up my commission for the Holiday Season!! Ur The Best ... 👿

'Even More' BS

First work on the 2G and 3G coverage and then worry about your plans. 🙄
T-Mobile's EDGE is better than my current luck with Verizon (braces for attacks).

No More MyFaves

I guess T-Mobile did away with it.
Yes they did and in return they gave you Unlimited talk plans for practically 50% less than any other major provider.

International SMS Rates have increased to 35 cents

In an age were prices are coming down on sms, t-mobile is increasing their rates. Heck, even At&t has free international sms with their prepaid plans. Why is t-mob increasing from 20 cents to 35 cents is beyond me.
I'd say it has to do with the fact the last time I was in a TMO store it would of helped if I spoke Spanish.
Raise the rates on what's being used, easy way for TMO to make more money.

Should have called it " Even more Confusion " Plans

Even More , Even More Plus -- - Couldn't they have come up with anymore confusing names. To the average consumer, what do these names mean ?? Bringing catherine zeta jones back was good move, but the rest has a big question mark. It makes wonder who exactly makes these decisions. I remember a few years ago they had some reality show on tv like the apprentice except that a monkey was deciding T-mobile is trying the same thing. [Btw, i am not a t-mob hater and actually have been a customer in some form for 7 yrs]
i know what you mean. the names are really confusing.

it is a gamble worth taking for t-mobile though.
