To All Those "It Still Can't Beat An iPhone" fanatics out there...

Please stay the hell away from here for the following reasons:

No one cares about your biased opinions

No one cares about your fanboyisms

No one cares about post unrelated to the topic at hand

No one comes here to see you flood the gates

No one cares about how much you love a phone that still doesn't offer key features for us Blackberry users

Just please realise, along with many out there, no one cares.
I agree if you own a iphone thats great it works for what you want it to do. I wish you fanboys would stop getting on here talking as if its the greatest **** since sliced bread. The Iphone is a great device but that doesnt mean others have to agree. ...

O/S to be "pushed out" ??

Since this will be the first upgrade for me, can someone tell me what to expect when it id "pushed out?" Will it be automatically sent to my phone? Do I need to do anything?
Does it install automatically? Or do I need to run the install process?
Thanks.
What you will get is an icon or some type of notification showing up that says there is an update. It won't automatically push it to your phone. It will be up to you to start the update from the icon.

Not too hard to do. The last over the air (OTA)...

The screen click is totally lame (and gets worse over time) , the processor is grossly underpowered, and overall user interface is not suitable for a touch screen device.

I had one since November 2008 and it is the absolute worst cell phone or BlackBerry I've ever purchased. The rubber sides creak because they have gotten loose, the accelerometer gets stuck all the time (any firmware version), and the noise reduction makes the phone sound so bad people think I'm on a crummy old wireless telephone (Bluetooth is the answer to that issue). There is nothing worse than waiting for this thing to react to touch input and respond-- it...

Most of the world apparently disagrees with you though. It's the #3 ranking smartphone in terms of sales.

Several issues you complained about are warranty items that would get you a free replacement anyway

They do, stores called "Exchange Policies" and RIM calls it "1-Year Warranty" if you quit complaining and start reading.
The phone has changed so much since November.

Have you even seen one with the .75 software? (it does help the accelerometer) This leaked software is on my manager's machine. It makes it work great.

-improved responsiveness
-better battery lif...

Finally

🤤

ps. That is all!!!
If anyone is wondering why this took so long, Verizon was a LITTLE bit picky which OS they wanted to release. RIM was spitting out updates at a record breaking pace since the phone was introduced. Other carriers were a little less picky in other count...
