Why the heck does Sprint not do this?

I have a Nextel phone and I love the service out here. I seriously thought about extending my contract for another two years with the simply everything plan on iden only because I will not settle for anything less when it comes to the voice/call quality. Now seeing this plan coming from the Boostmobile side, why would anyone in their right mind pay more than $50 for anything from Sprint for iden only service? I don't get it. If Sprint does this I will be there in a heartbeat.

Why would anyone want the $99 2yr contract plan now?

Why sign a contract with Sprint or Nextel and pay $100 a month for unlimited usage, when you can pay half that with boost and not be committed? Am I missing something?
Sprint has a very fast data network and PDAs. Boost does not.

The reasons why people would still go for the 99 plan is basically what everyone else has said. More features with Sprint's data network. Also Boost does not offer discounts on phones.
Phone selection, coverage area, data speeds, phone capabilities, need i go on?

Nextel-Boost interoperability?

If I go on Boostmobile can I still DC other Nextel users?
Yes, they've been toying with this idea for about a year, in northern cal and a couple other places.
