Nokia Removes Native VoIP from N Series Phones

Why?

Why would they remove that from the phone? Why not just leave it in there...but as an optional means to use VOIP? Most VOIP providers don't let you use an external client for a phone. If they do can someone please tell me if said client is available for phones like mine. HTC Dash (Windows Mobile 6.0) which comes with a 802.11 b/g antenna 🙂

The way this is phrased...

it makes it seem as if every N Series phone comes standard with VoIP.

Has that always been the case? I thought only a couple of Nokia's phones had VoIP.
