What a bunch of cellular fluzies..........

first the towers now the iDEN network. They ruined a perfectly good network...i'm talkin about Nextel 🤣
Sprint has spent too much money to bend over backward to incorporate Nextel in a CDMA company. I can only hope Nextel is sold so Sprint can focus on something more important than *chirp*.

I work for the Sprint only side, it's not that I hate Nexte...

Sprint should've thought better...

Honestly you can't mix apples with oranges and Sprint made a HUGE mistake believing that they can actually mix iDEN with CDMA. I don't know why Sprint wanted to buy Nextel in the first place, but a mistake like this proves to be extremely startling, embarrassing, and fatal. Sprint needs to make better moves rather than to force iDEN to be migrated to CDMA, and needs to make better decisions in the future. This was a merger that could've been avoided. Should Sprint have avoided purchasing Nextel, then I would've still have been with Nextel today.
The decision was made a certain someone who is no longer with sprint anymore. 🤭

While engineers/operations complain how this and that cannot be done, it is mostly baseless whining. This time, it was not baseless.

Southern Linc + Nextel?

Why doesnt Southern Linc step up to the plate and buyout NEXTEL? Perfect couple since they both use IDEN and Southern linc would be a bigger wireless co. They would probably do a better job handling Nextel than what Sprint is still trying to do with Nextel. This should have happened before Sprint went to merge with Nextel
Good idea. Maybe that would make Southern Linc a national carrier. I'm really angry at Sprint making this unholy move trying to merge iDEN services onto its CDMA network. I hope Southern Linc would consider purchasing Sprint's iDEN network soon...

First the CDMA Towers, now this

What next?

On sale now! Corporate Stores!! Get them while they are HOT! Special, Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

Bonus: For every 5 Stores you buy, you get 1 Free Instinct - oh wait, there are no Instincts to go around. We will substitute the Blackberry Curve - crap, none of those either.

You'll have to settle for the Special Edition Beyonce Gold Upstage.
Ok but only if Beyonce is the one to deliver it 😁
actually, this a good move. most of the customer loss has been on the nextel end. and its a dead horse. they should get rid of it while they can.
as far as the towers go, Verizon and Att lease towers too. so this would not be unusual.

The only reason the Blackberry Curve was hard to get on Sprint service was because of RIM. According to them they ran out of

Does this mean they're gonna sell the Nextel name too?

Or sell the towers only. I for one, would welcome the sale of the name too.
Personally, I think they should have dropped the Nextel name because it really does confuse people. But, with Verizon picking up Q-Chat..
